Giving Back
We've been very lucky to be embraced by the Austin community and we try very hard to give something back. So far we have donated over $270,000 to various causes within the city. From Austin Children's Shelter, The Austin American-Statesman's Season for Caring campaign, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central Texas to Dell's Children's Medical Center, Capital Area Food Bank, Foundation for the Homeless, lots of schools and other organizations. They are a big part of who we are and we are delighted to make a contribution to help them with their success.
We have chosen our 2013 recipients and they are:
Saturday, March 2: Dell Children's Medical Center – The major pediatric facility in the region and is dedicated solely to providing health care for children and adolescents.
Saturday, June 15: ACE: A Community for Education – Provides low-income elementary schools with highly trained AmeriCorps tutors to ensure that children advance to grade level in reading before third grade.
Saturday, September 7: Austin Child Guidance Center – Provides access to low-cost and free mental health services to children up to 17 years of age.
Saturday, December 14: Season for Caring – The Austin American-Statesman's holiday charity campaign helps a number of featured families and hundreds of others through locals non-profit agencies.
If you have or know of a cause that could use a little help, let us know.
